Kids Fishing Aspen Mirror Lake

FISHING

The cabin is in walking distance of 2 fishing ponds, Aspen Mirror and Duck Creek Reservoir.  They keep both ponds stocked and its easy fishing from the shore.  Navajo Lake (35 min), Panguitch Lake (40 min) and Asay Creek (60 min) are also great fishing areas within a short drive of the cabin. We supply some fishing poles and gear at the cabin for your use. Cedar Mountain True Value is right in Duck Creek Village and keeps fresh worms and bait on hand, as well as any other fishing supplies you might need.

HIKING

There are so many hiking opportunities around the cabin, Duck Creek Area and National Parks that we can’t list them all! But a few of our favorites are:

Cascade Falls – Very family friendly

Mammoth Cave – Very family friendly (bring flashlights)

Bowers Cave – Very family friendly (close to Mammoth Cave)

Navaho Loop in Bryce Canyon – Family friendly, but steep switchbacks on the way up, semi difficult. So Beautiful its worth it! Take plenty of water!

Zion National Park – Some of our family favorites are the Lower Emerald Pool and the Riverwalk. The Canyon Overlook trail is a little more difficult, but its short and worth the view! Take Plenty of water!
